Viagra and Cialis are two treatments for erectile dysfunction. Viagra is a brand name for sildenafil, which increases blood flow to the penis by relaxing the blood vessels. Cialis is a brand name for tadalafil, which works similarly to Viagra but can also be taken as a low-dose tablet once a day for men who want to be ready for sexual activity at any time. Both brand name and generic versions of Viagra and Cialis have the same active ingredients and are safe and effective treatments for erectile dysfunction. This product information page will apply to any product labeled sildenafil, tadalafil, viagra or cialis, at all doses.
Pop it only when you’re about to get some.
Take only your prescribed dose as directed.
Swallow the tablet whole, with some water.
It is important to note that these medications works only with sexual stimulation. This prescription alone does not increase your sex drive.
If you miss your daily dose of Cialis or tadalafil or Jaxx, do not double up. Simply take your next dose as scheduled.
It is recommended to take 1 dose of sildenafil no more than every 24 hours
It is recommended to take once dose of tadalafil as needed tablets no more than every 36 hours
Tadalafil daily tablets can be taken once per day.
If you have both tadalafil and sildenafil on hand (if you have purchased our starter pack), be sure to not taken sildenafil within 36 hours of taking tadalafil.
As with most drugs, these medication can cause some side effects. These effects are usually mild to moderate in nature and do not last for a long time.
Side effects may include the following:
Priaprism is a condition in which an erection does not stop after 4 hours. This is a serious medical condition that requires immediate emergency medical attention.
If you experience these side effects to an extreme degree or for an extended period of time, stop taking the medication and contact us, or visit your nearest emergency or urgent care clinic.
Be sure to let our medical team know if you are on any other medications or have medical conditions our team should be aware of.
Contraindicated with nitrates (seek emergency care if chest pain present within 24–48 h of taking this medication). In case of chest pain occurring during or after sexual activity you should not use nitrates but you should seek immediate medical assistance.
Should not to be taken for 5 days after stopping long-acting nitrates (i.e. ISDN).
May cause hypotension (low blood pressure) if used with nonselective alpha-blockers, e.g., doxazosin, prazosin.
May cause hypotension (low blood pressure) when used in combination with other medications used to treat high blood pressure. Watch for dizziness or lightheadedness.
May interact with ketoconazole or itraconazole (drugs used to treat fungal infections), erythromycin (a drug used to treat bacterial infections), ritonavir, saquinavir or other drugs for the treatment of HIV, cimetidine (a drug generally used to treat duodenal or gastric problems).
Grapefruit may increase the levels of these medications in your blood.
Rest assured, these medications are generally safe to use with other medications you may be taking, however, let your medical team know if you are on any medications or have any medical conditions.
How do I get my prescription?
Once your prescription is ready you can either pick it up at our on site location (75 Montpelier St, Brampton, ON., L6Y 6H4) or have your medication delivered monthly to your home for free. We ship across Canada to all regions except for: New Brunswick, Northwest Territories, Prince Edward Island, Nunavut, and Yukon. Once your order has been processed, you’ll be provided with a tracking number and can expect your delivery within 2-5 days.
How do I get a refill?
If you are on a monthly subscription, your medication will automatically be shipped to you every month. You can cancel your plan at anytime under the billing section of your myHealth account. If you are looking for an early refill please call the pharmacy at 905-291-7970 from 9am-5pm EST Monday to Friday or email at pharmacy@jackhealth.ca

Can I drink alcohol while on this medication?
You should avoid excessive drinking of alcohol, since alcohol can temporarily impair the ability to get an erection. Alcohol consumption may decrease the ability to attain an erection and may also temporarily decrease blood pressure.
Can I eat food while taking this medication?
Viagra and sildenafil can be taken with or without food. However, you may find that it takes longer for it to work if you take it with a high-fat meal.
Cialis and tadalafil may be taken with or without food.
